on rccrawler, the wheely king section had a recent post about the guys at supershafty.com making some new stuff...no affiliation, no kickbacks, blah, blah, blah...i did ask for stronger axles to be made...

no problem...i was ready to throw in the towel and put losi worm axles on my wk cause i was sick of breaking axles...last time i went to a crawling spot and broke in the first 5min of getting there cause fishing line got caught up in an axle and the bind caused it to snap...now i got renewed hope for it...maybe i can score a set of wk axles for cheap and pop some supershafty goodies in them and make a monster truck if they make new axles...nice to see they're gonna toughen up the trans too...

you could always go to ax10 or wraith axles
AX10 can be made even more stout than clod axles, but to do the "axial300 cvd" step is not cheap
