you can use shorter lower links if you use some sort of link brackets like level3rc on ebay or integy. The link brackets help strengthen the C-hub section of the clod axle.

Will-the brackets that use a spacer actually put more stress per tube than just bolting the link in. i had two tubes snap because i used mount brackets. that is why i went to the shock mounted onto a brace and used the inner axle stiffeners.

OP, im getting the measurements in two min, i just stepped in the door from a stupid long day at work....hockey is also on tv so it may take a min.

ok length of the 16" links is 6.75" on all 4 links.

also, what is everyone going to use as a body? im stumped on what is going to fit....

any ideas?

My proline chevy body fit fine too and HPI bodies should work too..

^ i willl grab a few tonight for you, i think it sits perfect. its not 100% low slung as most monster trucks arent.

im going to snap a few photos with different kinds of tires. i have stock clod, b&h, original rumble and new rumbles to put on it.
the original rumbles and aluminum beadlocks are the choice for me though, love the look.

definatly will look even better lowered..you could also maybe mount the shock mount under the braces?

brian the shock mount i dont think would work underneath it? i think just a shorter shock that is a little softer would work better.
