Thanks,
Frank"

I dont see why you couldnt. I am using my Clod axles as a backup in case I dont get the TXT im trying to buy. With enough modding you can do almost anything lol.

For the money,I would much rather have a builder that supports this site build me a custom tuber.
Plus then you get exactly what you want and support the backbone of our hobby at the same time.

Thanks Orange for setting that up... what a great deal! New Era has been around for a long time... and it's great that they are willing to continue to supply "on demand" like this. For a low-funds project tuber that is a GREAT price... I have dropped almost double that for other custom ones.

Hopefully the get these ready and shipped out within a month, never know though.

I would go with a custom chassis built by someone on the board, but who has time to do one? How much would they charge? This is exactly what I, and apparently others want to have.

I cant take any credit for "setting" up anything, I simply sent an email saying that a few people were interested in the chassis and if they could make some. Thanks though :)

what colors can the powder coat the frame and how heavy are these things? also is it a direct fit for txt1 trans and axles? thanks for the info

The site says "powder coated blue only" and I have no idea on the weight, and I assume the stock tranny would work with it but not positive.

The New Era stuff is made from tig welded 4130 chrome moly steel tube and it is very stout. This is the Jugg chassis w/Jugg sway bar from New Era. Bought this one back in 2002. I am using Tamiya Clod Buster axles on this truck along with a New Era extended Clod 4-link and alloy Clod shock mounts. This one has the Blue powder coat.

Pretty sure they can do custom colors but you will have to check with them first. I ordered A New Era Jugg chassis 2 years ago and requested it in Black. This truck has an OG Jugg trans Tamiya High-Lift Axles. Any straight axle can go under there really with enough customizing.

The brace behind the cab is a single diagonal on the 2011 rather than the x-brace type found on the 2002. Other than that slight variation they are identical.

Yeah there are a couple of TXT's on the board here that are running that chassis. The transmission for the TXT and the Jugg are the same.

Thanks Nick!! Like I don't have enough money already:p

That quote above says paint, so if you get one it would be easy to strip and paint (or powder coat) the color of your choice?

I would love to have one, now I just need to figure out how to get the money for one:mad

OT: Nick,

Whats going on with those TXT I saw you after in the BST forum? If I had the money I would have jumped on the too. That a heck of a deal for two TXT's!

The site says powdercoat so I dont know... maybe you can request an unpainted one?

I emailed and told him I'd be putting clod axles under mine... sounds like he will build clod specific frames for the same price!

Now im curious how many orders he has lol. Im just glad that they are willing to give us a good discount and actually remake this chassis. New Era is now high up on my list of great places to deal with :)
