New Bright CR-01 Unlimited

Found this by accident at Walmart, back in May, kept the body. The box was really dusty. I took it home anyway, I had plans. So started the sanding.

I had a FJ CR-01 chassis that just didn't line up with the wheel wells very good, and that bugs me on certain RC vehicles.

The New Bright body has a much longer wheelbase, so I cut the chassis half and lengthened it.

After much sanding and repainting.

And then it sat for several months, but today I took it out and found some rocks. Gotta take a break for supper, Im starving, I'll finish my story in awhile. :rock

Thank you, I like yellow on a Jeep, there's a 1:1 Rubicon just like it that runs around here, only stock though.

Thank You. I think those bodies are getting hard to come by, I just got lucky finding one at Walmart. Now everything you see there is so much smaller in scale :-(
