well last night i took the plastic bushing out of my bush devil and replaced them with ball bearings. it seemed really tight at first and i couldnt spin the axels by hand(without motor installed). i installed the motor and fired up for like 15 secs and it reemedied the situation. i also compared to my super blackfoot that still had plastic bearings and the sbf was easily moveable. so tonight i did the same to my super blackfoot and encountered the same problem except it hasnt gotten any better. i tried to losen the screws and nuts that hold the case together and it seems to get better but the nuts are too loose after that and it clearly isnt as it should be anyway. Has anyone else had this issue? i had it apart two more times to try and reseat everything with the same results. is it possible it justs need to break in? thanks- bob

I actually had a very similiar problem with my Bullhead...So what I did was I shimmed the gear cases with small washers. Seemed to alleviate the problem. Very strange though. You would NEVER think this would have to be done, but with FULL bearings, it just didn't turn that freely....Mike
