I think I might be missing something here(and I think I am, lol) but besides the buggy body what makes this different than the 4WD shortcourse trucks that are already out there? I mean performancewise isn't it pretty much the same? Mind you I don't own a shortcourse anything so I just thought I'd ask.

your right, it's more of a scaled down 1/8th buggy vehickle with a realistic offroad body.

However...
Yes there are some others out there, a losi, kyosho,, and HPI will have a larger 1/8th version. But this is a easy to get parts for KIT that is meant for the hobbiest. Not a rtr bogus wagon you have to discard half the crap then put good electronic equipment on and go over every piece of hardware to be sure it's done right.

A KIT in this day and age, imagine that, a FREAKING KIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Bill, that's a great point.

Yeah, I was just wondering why everyone was getting excited. To me I just saw another shortcourse vehicle so I figured I must've missed something.

I am one that also wants one. However I have another project so I won't be getting one anytime to soon. Being a kit I really look forward to building it, but also think it will be a fun beater ride that I could also let others drive and not wreck one of my trucks.

when i saw it in action, i thought of my 4x4 stampede...to me, it's pretty much the same thing...

i love to build kits as much as the next guy, but if axial follows how they set up the wraith kit, you'll have people longing for RTRs...lol...

i still say tamiya had the best kits...the instructions couldnt be beat...and the bodies were always so detailed...

Looks really cool although why wouldn't I just get something like the GS Storm I had that's made to go fast? This looks too nice to bash!

At least with a scale crawler you're going slow so crashes don't do much damage. The first time I rolled my Boyer they almost had to give me oxygen. I can't imagine putting so much work and money into this to have it do 10 rollovers at 30mph.

It's called "sensible bashing". Which means you only beat on it as your wallet allows.

I want to build one just because it IS complex compared to many others. However, that said me purchasing one is a long ways down the road.:)

Grab one up Will it's worth it!!I tried to wait and I just said screw it!!When I do get around to working on it who knows, but I had to have it !!Oh yeah I caught the heli bug for '12 so most of my toy financing is going toward electronics for my Rex 600,and clone 250!!,not to mention all the spares I'm gonna need practicing my 3d!!
