I'm in love

Definitly very cool. I wonder what it'll take to make it 4x4. That thing is so accurate looking it's amazing.

As for tire size, remember clods or 6" ;)

Wow, I really like that truck! It's so nice to finally see a new truck without yucky low profile tires and huge rims! :)

Does not come as 4x4 as it's currently seen, as Hacker said, axle is pluged and no driveshaft.

I'd assume it would take a diff, inner shafts, and driveshaft. Prolly the same parts as the rear by the way the case looks.

well thats kind of stupid.. other than keeping the price down i cant see why they would sell it as 2WD, and how much more cash would it cost them to slap another driveshaft and front diff in there. how many MT's are RWD :ack . lets hope its an option.. if not i think my need to own one is quickly dissapearing.

well the housings front and rear best I can see are the same. So I assume you would just need the guts.

I can think of 3 possible reasons this is 2wd,

1) it's the prototype

2) keep the price low (as you said)

3) to reduce the front weight to aid in better wheelies

I just hope a 4x4 conversion is as simple as I think or the production will be 4x4.

it might end up an option kit, or another model offering and this is the entry level stampede type rtr deal.

You know, like traxxas did with the 2wd tmaxx and they have the kit to make it 4wd later

Hmm, didn't notice the 2WD the first time, but it looks like it can be upgraded to 4WD based on that front axle. Too bad there is no good tranny shot yet.

well it depends on the steering parts and wheels. if the wheels are hex and not bearinged (I made a word) and if there are corresponding holes for drive axles and such... otherwise we're out of luck.

luckily it's HPI and hobby shops will actually stock it unlike how the shops where I live dont seem to stock tamiya (or at least i havent yet found one)

I just though of something else, and this makes me happy. I have a Parma Chromillusion Bigfoot body, and by scale its way to friggin small for 1/10 scale, so it may very well be a perfict accurate fit to this truck :D

I guess because they call it the Wheelie King they are chasing the Wild Willy market, the WW is 2WD.

I really hope they sell a 4WD kit for it, or offer a 4WD version. If it's only 2WD I might not want one...

If it is able to be 4WD, I want one FOR SURE.

I think it will be 4WD (or 4WD capable). I don't want to have to rig stuff. I want 4WD with factory parts they right way...

I was gonna get two of these for sure if it was 4WD :banghead My first hobby-level r/c wasa an HPI RS4MT. They just gotta make this 4WD. They just gotta :willy

As for the 1:12 scale? Who really cares so long as the axle size is near Clod, Jugg, or even TLT dimensions. By the look of those tires, A change of body and/or wheelbase adjustment is all that is needed to adjust scales. I'm guessing it is. We all know the Jugg and High Lift are by all rights a 1:12th scale trucks that Tamiya markets as 1:10.
