need suggestions on how to keep my front wk wheels on a custom build

I am using this kit

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hot-Racing-HPI-Wheely-King-aluminum-wide-hex-hubs-WK10W01-/290971161458?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43bf3b9372#ht_2105wt_679

added a toothed washer between the wheel and the black aluminum round deal that say's hot racing on it and figure the toothed washer is now just slipping on it.

I get about 30 yards out of it and the front keep breaking loose on me.

is it cool to use thread lock or is there other methods.

I just got the truck done and everything is great but this is driving me nuts already becuase I cannot drive it very long without the front wheels ready to fly off each time lol.

they seem to be holding and think the blown rear ring and pinion was the culprit.

if they do it again I will thread lock them then though becuase I had enough of that already lol.

use threadlock, and let it sit to dry over night for best results

That is what I do on any barrel nut I use, reason, hate to lose one so I've done this and not looked back since.
