I am working on finishing up a High Rider DXS. Its taken a lot of time, work and more money than I expected but its really coming together. The last two hurdles are the motors and wheel nuts. If anyone could answer the two questions below it would be much appreciated.

    1. I am not familiar with these trucks so I have no idea what kind of motors to run. What I have are Kyosho Atom Smashers (12 Turn). Are those to hot to run even with the smallest possible pinions? If so what turn should I be looking for?

    2. The truck has what appears to be Thorp axles and dog bones. What size are the threads on these? I rarely ever deal with SAE bolts so I dont have much to compare to.

Nice looking Hi Rider. I have the same chassis as you do. As for motors I'll be running Kyosho 22 turn mega motors. As for the threads on the out axles should be 8/32.
