Ok no joke my head is gonna explode, this all started after talking to a guy after I got back from the beach and commented on how it suks cause I only have one set of lipos for each of my 2 rigs and the 4s alone takes 3hrs to charge and the 2s take over a hour and he said thats way to long what charger you have blah blah....I have a hyperion eos 5i also.
Says that charger only does 30watts and I need 50w to get the full 5 amps a lipo can be charged at and hence a faster charge time. So I had plans for some to get one of these

or

So here is the reply on what he said about those:

well.... I know you don't want to hear this.. but if you don't want to do this twice, here's your charger:
http://rclipos.com/HP-EOS0615iDUO3.htm
your second choice of charger is the better one, with a better step circuit for the high volt items. I would prefer the second because you can charge it higher but even better, you can charge both your packs in parallel at the same time, which will save you charge time.. no matter what your packs are.
Although the hard news is that you really need a duo2 or duo3 for your needs. I have one, bought it 2 years ago, and have absolutely no need of any other charger as long as there's electric rc in the world. Best money I EVER put out for the hobby/business. Hands down. This is one place you won't be sorry you spent/saved for it.
I have seen these turnigy/other chargers and they do work well, but even still pale in comparison to the smarts and abilities of the duo chargers.
Cheers, Best of luck with your upgrades

Now I have been around the hobby for over 20years and seen alot come and go but when it comes to this part I get lost at times and that charger while nice is way over my budget! So other options?
Thought about either of these and take advantage of towers 3 pay deal.

Still like the turnigys for the price but if they wont do me much more then... So anyone with more experiance have any other suggestion or thing im fine with one of the listed ones?
Here is mine to

Going in order here...

"Accucel 6, circuit power: Max Charge: 50W"
Same as you have now.

"Accucel-8150, Capable of handling up to 8S, 7A or a maximum of 150W "
This will charge your 4S pack at 7A if you wanted.

"Hyperion HP-EOS0615i DUO III, 360 Watts Max Charge Output"
Lots of power there, lots of $ too.

"ElectriFly AC/DC Triton2, 63W max DC, 50W max AC"
You could only charge at 3.75A with this one, on DC power.

"ElectriFly Triton2, 90W max"
No internal balancer.
This would get you your 5A.

"Team Checkpoint TC-1030"
No internal balancer.
Power not listed but will probably do 5A.

Something with specs like the Accucel-8150 would be my recommendation.
Here's another favorite amongst the airplane guys...

Ok thanks for that info! Guess I will go for the higher turnigy then, depending on shipping I may still be able to get 2 lipos even. Same person said that sticking to 2s lipos from now one the chargers charge these faster for one and it works better I guess? SUggested taking my 4s apart and making it into 2 2s packs but I have to see a diagram on how lipo are put together, I have done many a nimh pack and I know these are much different with the fire hazzard and all why I need to see whats involved first. Be nice cause then I have 2 packs for the clod if I only ran that :tmb

Using 2 2S packs isn't a bad idea for the reasons you said.

Also don't forget, if you split the 4S pack you'll have to buy a couple balance leads for 2S packs and wire them up. Certainly do-able but be careful, bad things can happen if done wrong.

That's another 50 watter. Same as you have now more or less but with a built in balancer. I have one. It can't do 5A, 2S, on 110AC. It overheats. On DC power it's fine. Other than that it works just fine. I don't charge anything but 2S packs with it. Got mine here... http://www.hobbypartz.com/thac6smbachw.html

That's absolutely the best charger for single cell balancing. :tmb

im loosing whats left of my marbles lol. Thought mine was actually 30w?
Id just get the accucell 8 but its out of stock and who knows when it will be back in.
I have a power supply so ac power isnt a needed thing.

If it was 30W then you could only charge your 2S at 3.6A (30W/8.4V). Couldn't find the power for yours but the AC/DC version is rated for 50W.

Thinking thats how much it does cause when I first started charging the 4s the other day the display showed 3.6a then kept dropping over the charge cycle.
