Right on Jay...I going start the build in a couple of days. My WK gears just got in. So what size 32P are you using for the spur and pinion?
i knew you'd love the hot wheels theme...DAYYYUM Jay...that HOTWHEELS is mine!!!! lol!!!!
I think I going look um up tonight...
I just about got everything on...just gotta work on the wheels now. Jay...I think I might need help with the mounting of the batteries. I like the way you run yours...so I didn't even mount the bat holder or install the interior yet..
also...going run my 4600KV first and see how I do with her. Just gotta hook up with you later for that door hinge to help hold up the drive shaft..
I'm still jazzing over the HOTWHEELS decals..lol!!!
I have read a lot that people are having issues with the kit- missing screws and pins, terrible instructions, and overall poorly done. I like axial and hopefully this won't be a trend.I gotta say...this kit is very upsetting if you plan on building it. First off...I got screws missing from parts bags and I had to dip into my own stash to compesate for the missing parts. Second...some parts are not fitting right without MAJOR modification. The hold in screw for the drive shaft that connects to the transmission is WAAAAAAAAY to thick to fit into the end of the drive shaft. I ended up drilling out the drive shaft ends to make the screw fit...that was really upsetting to me.
Over all..one of the crappiest builds I've done. I have stopped for now...but I'm just about done with the transmission and the axles and just need to build the roll cage and get everything hooked up. Also...the instructions, like Jay said, is confusing. NOT MADE for someone first starting out with a fresh build. The axles was kinda getting frustrating determining which end belonged where and where to set it. I had to look down the pages to see some end results..lol!!!
But thanks Jay for the help..sorry I got you at work, but at least I got the WK gears in..thanks again!!
So far my kit has all the screws. Only issue I have had with it is the manual and some of the part numbers. It might give the sprue number but not the actual part number. So then I have to look at it and hope I pick the right part. It also does not clearly show in the manual that the gears in the front and rear diff are put in opposite to each other. Other than that I am quite happy with the kit. Looking forward to getting mine running after reading threads like this and seeing other peoples Wraiths.I have read a lot that people are having issues with the kit- missing screws and pins, terrible instructions, and overall poorly done. I like axial and hopefully this won't be a trend.
Holly macro!!!!
These shocks are peices of garbage....I finally took my Wraith out for a DRIVE....just up and down my driveway. No jumps...no bumps...just up and down the street. shocks are leaking like a mutha...unreal..lol!!!
