I was lucky and I got two brand new TTR Ripper sheets from a guy on Clodtalk last year. CPE has windshield stickers and those are pretty cool. I am going to get one when I complete my Stallion. I love the Troops truck cause that looks like a Stallion too!

Your truck is sweet, Zyck and I were just saying how cool it looks.

Thanks for the comments- I'm still just staring at it on the kitchen table.

I ordered directly from Jconcepts and was here within 3 buisness days. Plus when you first signup for an account they give you a $5 off coupon and I just saw another in the mail for something else. I have been wanting to check them out when I saw the gladiator but was too late for that one and my slash.

I knew when I ordered the truck lid I would be one of the first on the block to get it. That was my "keeping under wraps" thing. The fit just blows away my already high expectations for the truck. I really think the big wheel wells make the truck- when you see it in person the top of the truck has a low profile to it- almost like a chopped look. Really cool. I asked about this and the slash size- they said the slash truck model has slightly bigger wheel wells... I think 1/2in slimmer, 1/2in longer and a full inch longer in wheelbase.

thanks for looking!

Looks great, and agreed that the Raptor body makes for a great Clod body.

Your chassis should have come with a CPE windshield decal. PM me your address and we'll get one out to you.

I have the Gladiator body, one of the ones that got out the door before they were pulled and this one was released. Be glad you waited, the Gladiator didn't come with any decals for the lights or grill. :(

I didn't realize there were different sizes....there is a Slash size and an MT size? Hmmm...thank for the dimentions as they are not listed on JC's site. It is a large body for sure, and the bed area is very nicely done.

Can you post a link to where you got your shocks from??

Thanks Mike

I bought the chassis used from stangnomore... they are treaded and I thought AE shocks. I have pm'd him and will get back with you.

I think they are great and probably wouldn't have been what I would have bought and glad they are on there and am looking for other setups for my other rigs:tong

I really think those are Jato shocks but they could be Revo ones. I was puzzled when you said Associated shocks so I wondered where you had got them. You can tell by the color spring marker on them that they are Traxxas for the different spring rate.

I had almost bought a set of Jato ones before but they were kind of beat up so I will be looking for a new set to try out also.

yeah your right- here was the stangnomore's response:

I think they are traxxas jato/revo hard anodized shocks. springs are definetly Jato springs.

So there you go:tmb

So here's my third lid for this truck... I have thought about selling this truck a couple times but I just love it and can't seem to seperate from it.
