So after many cents I got my clod to where I want it :D Here's the build list.

Dual Castle SV2's
Dual Castle 7700kv motors
CPE Predator chassis
CPE Carbon fiber 14" wheel base links
CPE Carbon fiber rear lock out
CPE Carbon fiber steering links
HR internal spring shocks
TTR Upper link mounts
RC4WD Wheel wideners
Sky 5000Mah 40c 2s lipo's
DX3C radio system

I ran the truck around a little bit until the rear pinion came loose, and this thing is just NUTS! I hope to make a video tomorrow or Saturday weather permiting. Now for the pics.

Looks good! Looks like you just used a y-harnesses for the escs. you didn't need to do throttle mixing for the escs like how others had to?

I think he is just running dual batteries... but he picked up the dx3c so he can mix if he wanted too. Actually I think I saw the y-harness in the pics? But if you run a battery for ea. esc you will not get the cogging either... at least that's from my experience.

Thanks....Yeah Mikes right. The Y harness is hidden and running dual lipo's. Mike knows all about my cogging issues so I dont want anything to do with that anymore. Ill have to read up on the DX3C for more info on the throttle mixing and tune it in.

Yeah Castle esc's dont require removing the red wire from one of the esc's. And thank you for the compliment:D
I clipped both of mine and added the bec pro 20-amp and upped the voltage to 6V on the front and rear servo's to get more speed and power out of them.

they pay for themselve's in the less weight of extra battery pack the space they take for the extra batteries and the cost of the batteries alone all add up plus these make sure everything gets a constant feed at the set voltage so you do not get the steering twitch and also it is feeding my rx it's max voltage contantly.

Heres a little video I put together. It was a little wet and tires are not glued yet, but it still ran pretty good. I just need to get a castle cable so I can tune the esc's a little.

Looks like a real performer. Regarding the Predator chassis, how do you hold the batteries in so they don't slide out in a turn? Is there a way to use rubber bands or is there some other way?

cool truck, was wondering how the air shocks work with internal spring...good,bad,ok? i love the look of them, but am skeptical on the air, always used oil..

@ Budhatrain. THANKS! Yeah it runs pretty well I broke it though. I need to get 2 CF links and we can hit the pavement again! We will get together here soon and go to sluggers and bash around bit:cool

@the67ss.. Im running dual sky 5000mah 2s 40c lipos Thanks for the compliment:cool

@kjr2 The predator chassis came with 4 removeable zip ties, 2 for each battery. I think Im going to get some velcro straps so they are a little tighter. The zip ties work ok but they can only be removed so many times before they wear out.

@Brianpage.. the shocks work great! they include 3 different types of springs. Hard, medium and soft. you can put oil in the shocks aswell as the springs, I used the hardest spring with 60w oil. and they work like a dream. These ones are 90mm if I were to do it over I would have picked up the 100mm shocks that have piggy backs on them made by HR that are internal spring as well.

well I broke it shortly after the video was taken. I was trying to go for a reverse wheelie and SNAP! I looked into it a little more and Im thinking the shock mounts had more to do with it than torque. But it sure have torque, Im thinking that when the bottom one snapped the top one went to also due to the weight of the chassis and causing the link to come slaming back down on the transmission. These CF links are not that strong I may just look into getting some machined lower links and leaving the top ones CF.

great,i was looking at the piggy back shocks, but didn't like the zip ties holging the resevior, thanks!!!
i was under the asumption, the hr shocks didn't use oil..they do? or can you use them without??

You can choose to use oil or not. It just depend on your setup, and how stiff you want things.
