My pedes new look

I'll keep it short since no one comes in here to read :). Basically I change the look of my pede every chance I get. Here's the list of the NEW items I put on the truck since last posting it:

Extended carbon fiber chassis made by ME.
HPI rims and masher 2k's (wish I got swamp dawgs again though :(),
Swami Bar,
RPM rear pede arms all around,
Emaxx chevy lid with my very first airbrush attempt.

No I'm not finished with the truck yet. My next items will be a mamba max 7700 and some swamps. I want the mamba cause I'll be able to convert my two 7 cell packs back down to 6's...then I'll be able to get a third pack back and it'll blow away my current setup!

Sorry for all the posers...I'm not comfortable driving and taking pics, I did it before and it wasn't pretty!

Off bod shot:

I tried to recreate a paint scheme I saw on Radio Controlled Hobbies way back. Its my first airbrushing so please go easy on me, lol:

Backend showing off SWAMI BAR

I'll try to get some vids sometime, its kinda hard with no one around here and I'm friendless! :D Well, none of my friends live near me anymore. Enjoy the shots.

Tim,
I absolutly love it, awesome job :tmb

I'm going to have to bribe you to do a 72 chevy for me later this summer similar to it.

Does the center of the chassis flex at all? I like the associated battery cups, :tmb they rock.

Thanks guys! :D

Bill,

Yeah the chassis does flex a little but I doubt I can break it...I'll never say never but to give you an idea of how durable CF is my standard length CF chassis took two seasons worth of jumps reaching anywhere from 6'-10' feet high and landing roughly 15'-25' long. It never cracked, split, or bent out of shape. This is why I wanted to go with carbon fiber over the fiberglass that we talked about.

BTW, my stock length carbon fiber chassis is up for grabs to anyone who wants it. Name your price.

Looks great!! What kinda arms are those in the front and are those wheels the same offset front and back?

Shoot, they blend in so well I forgot to put those in my list of new items. They are the new RPM rear arms on front and back with same offset wheels. I had to slightly mod the ones on front for obvious reasons but they do work with a little grinding and using a few spacers. I was using fastlane arms but even the front extended arms are slighlty narrower than the rear. It just bugs me to no end, lol.

Hehe, I think I am gonna try the HPI Rush front arms next. Picked up a free set at work someone didnt need (only needed rears).

Nice Pede. I wonder if that 7700 would too much power, though. I can't believe I just said "too much power." Just don't film and drive once you get that motor in:willy

I was doing the math and you may be right. I'm considering the 6900 or even the novak velociti 5.5. Right now my setup gets around 42000 RPM and the other two are only 4000 to 7000 more RPM...the 7700 is closer to 55000. I love speed and my current setup is starting to bore me.

WOW!!! The paintjob is soooo awesome!!! That was what I was thinking of doing on my TLT body too. It will be my first time too. Do you mind telling me how did you do that? I plan to do the same thing except in purple:drool

Also, any other pics, maybe from the top of the carbon chassis you made? Is it a one piece design?

All I did was first paint the lines with a regular paint brush and sprayed the white center section on the hood. Once that dried I backed all the bolts with the blue...let that dry and then finished it off with black. Its pretty easy even for a beginner like myself.

Yeah the chassis is a one piece design. Here are a few pics:

Yes my pede is sitting on its side without anyhelp, lol...
