does your SC10 have thge 12mm hex's on the rear?
if not there are now kits to convert both front and rear to 12mm hex's

Next you'll want a SC8, the SC8's are absolutely bullit proof, love mine

Thanks guys...I like it alot...the black and red paint scheme stuck out to me, im taking this too the track on my first free day lol...ran it around the house cause we had rain for the past few days and Im surprised at how well it handles and accelerates...was thinking about adding a small amount of weight to the front to see how it works out...

@Will... yes all the hex sizes are 12mm...I was considering the sc8e but i didnt have enough for that right now lol but im sure ill want one soon...The SC8 looks like a MONSTER!!!

scoots along very, very nicely. Glad you like it, it's a great little rig even better now that they've tweaked some things.

The SC classes are loads of fun, just be ready to get roughed up a bit lol. I have a TLR Ten SCTE myself. Fantastic truck, and it quickly became my favorite class at my local track. People take advantage of the closed wheel setup so it does get rough, especially if they started out driving SCs and never had an open wheel.

LOL did you almost run yourself over towards the end of the video? Makes me want to build the FT SC10 kit I've had since summer time. Never got around to building it...now maybe I'll have to, then take it out to the track. Looks like you will have fun with it!

These trucks are fast, and obviously very durable. A few weeks ago, I was at RC Madness hobby store/track. I was watching a guy drive his on the indoor off road carpet track. There is a huge jump at the start/finish line, and his truck flew into the air and landed the jump, with no bouncing on landings. Just incredible to my novice eyes...

quick update !!! Been having a blast bashing this thing around...its fun to drive and can take a good amount of abuse...

I ordered a castle SCT 3800kv brushless system for my sc10 and a new set of slash wheels and tires from ebay..gonna pick up a lipo too and see how she runs with the upgrades.

We start racing here and 2 other leagues in April so i wanna have it ready by then so i can go try to hand wit the big boys lol...Im wondering if I should add sum weight to the front of the truck to help balance it out...Ive seen people do it to theirs but im completely new to this...Any suggestions??

more pics......held off on the castle sct system for now, gonna take this truck to the No limit RC world finals at Diggers Dungeon in May. Im gonna just run a 2s lipo on the stock electronics until I burn the motor out, then I think I will just invest in one of those sensored Redline motors, John (JKracing) told me a 10.5t or 9.5t setup would be good. I did pick up a set of Traxxas Slash BF goodwrench tires from ebay, they seemed to have sum good tread and better than the stock wheels and tires, and I might upgrade to a 2.4ghz for the race.

Also took off sum of the decals lol...gonna add sum new ones later but I like the black and red body for now..:cool

anyway here are sum pics, like I said I new to the SCT so any help is greatly appreciated

The sc10 looks great man. Those things are so much fun.

Weve found from racing our 4x4s that those BFGs dont work quite as well as the stock sc10 tires. However the the BFGs are awesome looking. Also the sc10 tires dont really like the road lol, mine look like racing slicks now lol
