When you jump your truck, do the shocks absorb most of the landing or do the tires ? I am trying to set my shocks up to actually do their intended function, because it seems the tires are doing most of the work on my truck.

yes the tires take most of the shock ..... when i turn the truck at speed you see the tires totally flex almost to the rims lol.... that tire is so soft

but i also would like to know how to get my shocks to work a little better... maybe a softer spring is my next move

I keep returning to this thread to look at this truck. I've been on the verge of pulling the trigger on a TXT and getting back into this R/C game.

Soft foams in the tires and some softer springs and thick sway bars will make the suspension work. :tmb

haha, me too. In fact I just listed one of my other kits on Ebay to hopefully fund a TXT-1:drool
