ok so i was all on board for an Axial EXO but the wait was so long i lost interest , so i grabbed this instead a Jammin scrt10 with a 6.5 Novak BL 550 motor with a mamba max esc and yes a 2S will be powering it ;) i cant wait to run it but our weather is not the best right now and that mamba is not water proof :(

so i went with a wrap off of ebay for 27 bucks and matched the paint as close as i could , let me tell ya 4 hours to do the wrap right but it came out great IMO i still am going to do little details but over all its done ... i am running Proline Street Fighter tires being it will see a lot of street time

But first, plug that motor sensor cable in it'll run like crap like that Tom. Novak motors really don't run as well in unsensor mode from my testing experience.

I have had a couple of those motors, a 6.5 and a 7.5. I had the option torque rotor in the 7.5. They run like a beast, tons of power compared to 540 case BL's. But they need to run w/ a sensor ESC or they are lame. Being I don't like novak ESC's the only option I found at that time is the castle mamba pro. Traxxas VXL has a sensor port, but when I ran it it had no difference plugged or unplugged. Tekin didn't have a ESC at the time I thought was worth trying Now thiugh Tekin has come a long way.

Great truck Tom...that Red Bull wrap went on nice...and the black wheels really set it off..i thought it was 2wd when u showed me earlier but i like that its 4wd...cant wait to see a vid!!

Turned out nice, bet you can't wait for the snow to melt to run it! Same here with me...wanting the weather to get nicer to run some stuff! I should build my FT SC10 one of these days...

From the pictures I wouldn't have been able tell it was a wrap. I would have thought it was your painting skillz showing up again on this truck:p


Snow you've got some snow up there, we've only had maybe one day of snow down here and the next day it was back up to 50ish? It's been a pretty mild winter so far.

thanks Tom ! its been a mild winter here too but it seems when i have some time its snows ,rains or is just to cold lol...

thats what i was going for on the wrap and paint ;) i think i matched the paint pretty close

Nice Truck ! Driver figure looks good too, people should use them more often. Were did you get the front skid, and is it aluminum or plastic ?
