My KK chassis. Nothing special

Just thought I'd share some pics. I had the axles/electronics all ready from taking them from my Z2 so was just waiting on the powder coat (thanks Fatboy). Between school, work, and other projects I was able to get everything installed. No wideners - tires don't hit links - yay! I did a little test run and worked great. Now I just need to strap the wires down. Also, How are you guys securing batteries with these chassis? I know the Velcro straps, but is that all?

Looks pretty special to me, but then again I'm biased. :p

I like the black chassis. That's what I want mine to look like.

Good job!

bend up little U shaped bracket to screw on the non-wire side to stop the slide that way, and use velcro straps

EZRun 60a ESCs and turning 3900kv motors. I already had the ESCs but if not I would have dot leopard/toro systems. They are in my sassy clod and love them.

I've been eyeing the toro/leopard systems too. Do you know where everyone buys them from? I see them on eBay, but they are coming from Hong Kong.

I got Toros from http://stores.ebay.com/kidultgarden and http://stores.ebay.com/dinball. Both estimated a few weeks delivery but arrived in about a week. Really not bad.

Also, here are some pics from today. I trimmed the fenders of this body which I think really added to the look (and no rubbing now lol). It drives great, may do sway bars later and a few other little adjustments but I really like this chassis. No wideners and it turns great with no rubbing.

Dude, that looks great. I'm really impressed at how different everyone's KK is looking.

Awesome job with the video. You have a perfect ramp for jumping.

Ha! That perfect ramp is a super steep ledge from cutting into my front yard to make a rock wall. It was my first time on it but it did work great for some vertical and sky wheelies.

Cool vid Spencer...where do you live? that view of the mountain in the back is nice!
Thanks guys! Ya I usually get more compliments on the mountains that the trucks lol:D. I live on the foot hills of the Wastach Front of the Rocky Mountains - Ogden, Utah and have an excellent view of the mountains.
