The evolution of my Ground Pounder is complete. After finding this Grave Digger body I got from stangnomore awhile back I plopped it on my GP and the idea was born. I completely disassembled the truck and baked in some flouresant green paint and here it is:

....and yes they work....

thanks everybody:tmb

why did you have to bake on the paint to the frame ?
Baking the paint makes for a much stronger coating that just air drying it, especially on aluminum. I've baked a few of the frames and links on my other race trucks like my Hell Camino and my TXT-1(used to be King King) and people are suprised how well they've held up. I put the strength somewhere a wee bit less then the strength of annodizing. Also a good thing is when the paint gets scratched it doesn't flake the rest of the paint around it like you see on regular painted aluminum. Oddly enough it seems the cheap $1 a can spray paint at Wal-Mart holds up the best when baked.

-the proportions/stance of that are spot-on, & those tires & rims are sweet, now just don't drive it like Dennis Anderson & trash it all up:laugh

That does look great!

Word of advice for anyone baking their paint, you either better do it while the wife is out, or you better be single. It STINKS and I wouldn't recommend baking something in the oven right after you do that...

I like it! Gives me ideas about building a Clod up for my boy Zane. I just got that Stallion and boy that would look good sporting the Digger way of life!!!

Sweet man, good job sir. Jolly good show!
