my first rubi build

this is my first jeep build.

bought the body yesturday,waiting on it in the mail now.

specs are:

proline jeep body
tlt axles,bearings,aluminum knuckles
lrp esc
custom made chassis(by me)
mg 645 steering servo
losi rock claws and wheels for now
peedy tranny
3 racing winch
custom bumpers(built by me)
few scale items
sure i missed a few things
more to come.

well the guy cant ship my rubi body until tommorow and i hope to get it by friday so i can start on this thing.was hoping to get it today so i could start on the chassis for it.:-(

well he didnt get to ship it wednesday.he is in Tenn.and got flooded with the tornados.but did get it shipped out yesturday.so i should have it Monday i would think.

and thx Digger.yeah i think it will be a fun build.

well got the body.got it painted,mounted on my bruiser chassis.built partial exo skeleton,etc.

got tubing bent up.

brazed together.

tube work painted.

and body on with tube work done.

still gotta build roof rack,winch mount so that i can move it up to the front bumper.:tmb

thxdigger.and yeah they still have memory foams in them,they are soft as well as the tires are also.

got the roof rack built today.

notched out for the gussets.

a few scale items.:tong

also added wipers.

still gotta make bracket so that i can move the winch up on the stinger front bumper.:tmb
