well today i just recieved my rolling chassis,i got on ebay from a good friend,i recently meet on ebay.

i'm sure you'll reconize it.i know i'm just starting out and may sound funny buyin a puller thats half way done.
but here where i stay,u can't find r/c pullers, chassis or even real tractor pullers, events or anything like that.
tomarrow i'm gonna look into a new reciever for my controller, next week it will be something else.

i plan on finishing this one and start on another 1 when i'm done.

a few friends of mine have 2 or 3 clodbuster pullers and with the 1 i'm workin on i figured its a start.

Nize!!!. got a nude of it? "body off pic" I remember Hooters Chassis being the main starting point for alot of folks who wanted to get into pulling. They had a few basic pulling chassis's to choose from with quite a bit of reductions to choose from. I've done alot of business with them and their some old school folks who been into it for a while.

I'm over in Hawaii and also don't got any pulling or MT events. A long long long while back though we used to have Clod racing that went on in a parking lot of Longs Drugs store during the night. This was back when I was in the first grade maybe. Also where I got first eye at Clods and loved em and been into ever since.

Also would like to say welcome to the board and hope to see more progress pics of your puller and how you make with it. European folks got some real awesome pullers as well as many other fine type of models. Lot of them scratch built and nitro, some turbine ones too. Pullers isn't that hard to make either. Some simple aluminum plate and a few sets of different gears and something for basic solid rear axle and front axle with steering is all you need. add your electronics and you're good to go. Most of the tractor style pullers you see have wood bodies. Very few have full fiberglass bodies but are all real awesome machines.

You got a nice puller. I saw it at the Super Pull as well. Chris and I talked a little about his equipment and he has big plans on new products to come. It was nice to hear that have some new blood coming into the hobby with such enthusiasim. I hope that you are able to get a group out there going. I know that you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Greetings Moody,

Chris does make some nice pullers, I pull with him and his family. Where are you located at? I am sure this if you get that puller ready to pull soon you can catch pulls going on all the time.

well i apreciate the positive comments.
i stay in southern california, los angeles is the closest big city.
as i mentioned, over here we don't have any monster truck or tractor pulling events.mainly street rod, lowrider, import and harley events, their cool, but i'm tired of the same ol stuff.

me and a few guys are tryin to get a lil group of guys together and have a pull off maybe once a month or something.i already emailed and talked to the people at NRCTPA and i'm supose to get a sample packet in the mail soon.i wanna build to their rules and specs.as i mentioned theirs 3 clodbusters and the 1 i'm workin on,i plan on building maybe 2 more and a few friends are lookin at building as well.

i got a draggin wagon and right now its a start.

hopefully i can find more people in my area that have the same interest,
i'll keep ya posted.

Just a suggestion for your sled. I would look to find another one when you can. The Dragon Wagon is alright, but will not take a whole lot of weight. Keep watching ebay or ask around about some heavier duty sleds. Another thing you could do is modify your sled to take more weight or build one yourself. You already have vehicles that will be pulling in excess of 50lbs or so. I hope your able to get going out there and have fun. It is a great hobby!!

Go to NR/CTPA.org and you will hit our national site. Go a couple threads down and you will see some youtube videos of our last big event taken by our own Joe and Tina Kilian.
