Awesome looking. I like that you incorporated some revo components into the suspension. I haven't seen that before. :D

What an awesome truck ! I saw it first in your other thread. I noticed that you are using servo horns on your servos to steer. Have you had any issues with servo function with them on ? I put a servo horn on one of my servos and now I have to replace the servo; the gears stripped somehow...

Okay guys, here she is TOPLESS!

The chassis, cantilever setup, upper and lower link mounts is all the astonishing work of Mr. Boyer. He deserves all the credit, I just put the truck together. Lol

I know my electronics/battery locations are more than questionable and will probably have to be relocated due to possible heat issues.

As for the servo horns, it’s best to use servo savers to help protect your servo from stripping out gears. I am using Hitec metal gear servos hoping they might be okay but as soon I wreck one the savers are going on.

Servos are the least of my worries as I assembled the cases without the axle stays. I’ve always wondered if I could run without them if I used metal tubes and knuckles. This research and development may prove to be very costly!!!

Thanks again for the great comments.

Okay, well I asked about them because I use Hitec 645 metal gear servos on my 4WS truck, and some how last week, I grenaded the servo saver on the front servo. So I put on a servo horn, because i didn't have a spare saver. Then the front servo went kaput. So you might want to save the expense of replacing servos, and just pre-emptively throw the savers on soon.

truck is a beauty for sure, John does awesome work.

Brian, the 645 needs a saver, it is not quite strong enough to go without on a monster clod tire rig. Now when you get up in the $100.00 plus 350oz/in and above servos with super strong gears and metal cases then using just a horn can be done as there is no ''compatible'' savers for that kind of torque
