Planning of getting back into MT racing so its time to start building a new ride for next year.

Started making chips and got the chassis and center diff direct drive 32 pitch spur gear adapter done.

Hope to get working on the center diff/motor mount next weekend.

looks pretty cool so far
nice work :)
looking forward to seeing this project...your trucks always turn out really good!
Thanks gang.. It's been a while since I played with Autocad other than work and with my machines in the garage. And I'm having fun with this project again.

Not much designing and building just mostly buying parts on the off-road side of the hobby. LOL Though I've managed to design and fabricate an adapter plate to relocate the center diff/motor towards the rear and center of the chassis of my SCTE for better weight transfer and to align the drive shafts better, similar to the MIP setup without the $170.00 price tag.

Oh yeah name fixed so HawnMT please stop twisting my arm.LOL

What Jayson meant was if it doesn't turn quick enough to create a vortex stronger than Sandy then you better start over. ;)

looks good! i dunno about clod killer, but can it turn good?!? lol...
The fun of trying is where its at for me.. And if v2 fails then v3 will be designed and so on.. With all the ideas floating around and all the good builders here, I'm sure someone will build a Clod Killer as some point.. I fact all you shaft truck builder/racers are potential "Clod Killers" LOL Think about..

Alot of people feel that the Clod is top dog.. So isn't it a custom to shoot for the top dog?

There goes the neighborhood! :D:D:D:D
It's all me.. I said I was going to post it and didn't at first thinking what happend the last two times these words where spoken.. But what the heck its all for fun..

Spent some time playing in the shop and made the motor/center diff plates and bearing adapters.

Hope to fabricate the spacers and assemble this weekend.

Had a chance to cut the center diff/motor mount spacers made and assembled it with the motor.

Just a quick mockup of the direction I'm going.

Hope to fabricate the chassis spacers and mount the center diff assembly soon.

Thanks for looking.

Coming together real quick, great work Joe!
Thanks Kent. Trying to get her done before 2013 season starts. But with off-road getting in the way, it's taking longer then I would like it to be.

I'm having fun though.
