I picked up my Nylint again this weekend. I'm working on 4 links and swaping out the toy elecs for an actual esc, radio and servo.
Here's what I did today:
I removed the original "servo" which was a small elec motor with a bunch of gears mounted to the front of the front axle. I removed it all and shaved down any extra plastic. In it's place I'll make a mounting plate from aluminum and mount a futaba s3003 servo.
Completely gutted! I'm using 6-32 threaded rod for the linkage.
I need to find some small shocks...maybe 2". I'm not sure. Any suggestions? At this point I think I'm going for more of a scale look over function. I'd like to bash on some small rocks with it as well though.
