did I miss the original posting of this truck with the body on? I remember NewEra making 2 variations of this truck with the earlier first version having a more wider tire than the newer variation. The bodies also differed as the earlier version had an old style 98 Bigfoot type Ford pickup body which said LiL Foot on the door and the newer version had a more Dodge Ram type style body which in my opinion didn't look all that too nice, the newer version also had narrower tires.

Anywho I see you mentioned you're building another one and my question was where are you obtaining the axles for it? I thought that the place that produced the axles went out of business long long ago? or did you clone/reproduce the axles on from the NewEra truck? OR is it an all whole new axle thats scratch build? please shed some light on this as these trucks are indeed quite large and I also have seen a couple of them with real scale Conley V8 engines that really light the truck up not just with power but real scale 1:1 sound.

BTW how did this make it to the TXT section? woulda been hot if it was indeed a large scale TXT at this size.

Parts are hard to come buy now:-( I have several complete rear ends and and lots of spare gears to complete my housings. I can duplicate any part for my trucks. I built my first truck before NEw Era came out with their truck. Iv'e see the truck with the conley. Looks are all it is. The motor is not that powerful for that truck + you couldn't have reverse for it. I have reverse for both my trucks. My new project is going to be both trucks combined. Full aluminum frame, 5hp motor with gear shift servo opperated reverse, 4 wheel drive and 4 wheel steering with a custom adjustable manual transfer case and 2 qc rear ends. Total weight 50 lbs. Not the fabricated weight of the New Era 65 lbs. + act.
