what battery gives you the most bang for the buck?

looking something 5000mah+ 2s 40c or 50c lipo battery.

and where to get a deal?

I have a clod running dual sv2's and 4600kv's bec pro 20A X2 208-oz servo's.

also need one for a wheely king with a sv2 4600kv X2 208-oz servo's.

I need to know of a good reliable battery make and model as I use to run nitro and have no clue what brands and models are good and wich one's will burn your house down type thing thanks.

also where is a good place to buy good battery's for a good deal?

I know everyone says they are the same but I'm a firm believer in the Zippy Flightmax brand Lipos over the Turnigys at Hobbyking. All that hype over super high C ratings is just that, hype. There's no way those small wires are pushing 300+amps through them. Just stay in the 30 and 40C standard range with the +10C burst and you'll be fine.

should I be looking at the nano or non nano and is the one I linked to much for them or?

I really don't understand the whole C thing burst etc.

I have had issues with both types Kent. I wouldn't choose one over the other as my experience is a toss up. Now it's just a matter of do they fit my needs and requirements for the race i am attending. And I am with you on the C ratings; I ran my E-Revo for 5 minutes on a 2S 28C SMC 5000mAh Lipo. Still had plenty of puch and runtime left at the end.

i bought a set of nano techs (45-90c)...

for *ME*, in my application (dual brushless clod), i didnt notice any performance difference in the nano techs vs the "standard" packs...i notice they are able to take a higher charge rate though...

as for the two batts, i'd go with the hardcase one...not cause it has a hard case, but i like to use the minimum numbers to figure out the "punch" of the pack

the hard case lipo will give you 200amps of power vs the 150amps of the nanotech pack...

cool I will go with them hard case one's then.

and the 200 should be plenty for my clod also it has dual 4600KV duel sv2's dual 208-oz servo's and a castle pro 20amp bec?

the wk is the same but single everything and duel servo's.

the saddle type are tempting for the Wk but I need to figure out how to mount them and still look good if I put one in the front and one in the rear to even the weight but for now I wanna see these things rip before the snow hits.
