That looks similar to the Thunder On the Beach event at Wildwood, New Jersey. If anyone ever tried such cool monster truck events on the beaches out here in California, the greenies would have a field day protesting and shutting them down in a second.

Dang that looks real fun and fun to watch. MT's on the beach or just in plain sand has that big 1:1 R/C look if ya would. I can only imagine them sling'n sand all over like huge buggies.
