Mo, will the pack look similar to the regular stick pack, be in a plastic case etc....? How much if any weight difference will there be between it and 6-cell pack?

Its made by maxamps, they use a hard shell case made from lexan that they put around the battery then shirk wrap it up like normal. Should look just like a normal stick pack but with no rounded edges.
Im not sure of the weight on it, its a 8000 MAH pack so it should be a little hefty.. but heft for a lipo is still lightweight. Im guessing maybe about as much as a 6-7 cell pack? Im only basing this off my experience with the 5000 MAH packs and how much they weigh. I still have to do a little more research on how my runtimes will be with it but I think I should be fine.

thanks a lot for the warm wishes.i don't know if my problems will go away to a point where i can come again:bang i really miss the company there and racing.[in that order]like i have said in the past,it's not so much about the racing,it's about the great people we meet and talk to that counts.i've went to many events there and regardless of how my trucks did i always had a blast every time.good freinds is what counts.i do read the forum hear all the time.but i don't have much interest in the hobbie any more do to my health.hard to concentrate on it.

Tonight I planned out the new road course. Should be interesting. Maybe not as ground-breaking as last event, but cool regardless. The materials and primary construction wont be until the night before the jam, so locals will have no chance to pre-run any more than anyone else. I don't remember if we've run this course design yet or not. I don't think so, but I'm not sure. I do think everyone will like it as it has something for just about everyone in it.
So anyone have any skwurls coming with them?

all my race trucks are ready minus my sport mod which is in a million pieces awaiting a new gearcase. its cracked where the upper link mount goes down through the case on the steering tube.
i actually went back to brushed on my mod pede - it now has a 13x2 cobalt 2 and the vxl is in my clodopede, should i choose to run it - the thing doesn't turn worth half a crap.

none of my trucks are ready.
basher clod still has a tore up suspension
sledgehammer needs a new tub (which I have) and a few replaced drive line parts
race clod needs a chassis (fab work HO!) and a temporary body since the ATHF body idea wont be ready in time
and my mod bruiser needs drive lines and other bits
I have most of the parts I'm just not around enough anymore to get it all done... hopefully I'll get most of it done this weekend

mike you know that i'm gonna sneak in and take a bunch of pics of your 4wd setup so i can finally do my own haha i have 2 stampedes here that do nothing and 2 extra tranny cases as well so i think i should be able to pull it off if i can find the right machines to do everything right.

No real skwurls here... However I just ran the Lipo/BL clod for about 10 minutes and couldn't get the low voltage cutoff on the ESC's to kick in! This thing has some capacity! Battery isn't even warm after all that shockingly. Runs real smooth, about as much power as a standard mod clod but much lighter. Cant wait to get it on the track.
