Ok, here's an IMPORTANT update. There is a motel that's a little over 3 miles away from the track in Ligonier on RT 30. It has vacancies. It's run by an older couple so please be patient when calling Word of advice......speak loudly and clearly LOL!!!!!

**Edit: Mapquesting it puts it about half a mile to a mile EAST of Ligonier along rte 30. Should be easy to find, and distance to the track would be about 12 miles or 17 minutes, time-wise.

Everything is booked. Of everything listed, your best bet is to keep trying and hope you stumble across a cancellation. That ABC motel has air conditioned rooms too

I guess there is some biker convention that same weekend (there's always someting it seems) and from what the hotel people told us, they have been booked full for *months*.

Apparently some of these places are still showing up as available on travelocity. Maybe they have rooms set aside for online booking... It would be worth a shot, plus you could save some money in the process...

No worries Alfy, there's *always* lots of pics from these events.

Any new people planning on coming to this event? We sure hope so, new faces are *always* welcome and needed as well. Any new people that attend always get the free tour to see where E-Maxxes once roamed the ceilings of the racing area.......20+ feet off the ground :rof You just wouldn't think an E-Maxx could climb a wall AND then run across the ceiling.......but it has happened......many times too:willy The proof is there. Come out and see it. Don't forget to bring some trucks too. Maybe your trucks would like to add their foot prints:spaz

Its a shame that there is no closer place Like RC Alley to run my clods.....I probably would not have dropped them for 1/14 scale rigs if there had been...:-(

Oh well, I still had fun the last time I was there, I was as giddy as a school girl ... If anyone has the option to attend this event I would Highly recommend it..I sure did, even if I didnt get to complete a race ...Although My 6X6 did get some jumps in :burn

Matt, we always advertise a Novice class. Sometimes it runs and sometimes it doesn't, it all depends on if anybody shows up to run in it.

i don't even know what all i'm going to run. here's what i'm planning on:

stock and mod pede, conversion, mod clod and sport mod, and maybe if things go right i may run clodopede but i'm not sure.

I have no idea what I am running yet:willy That's nothing really new for the MJ and WMB events as I usually wait until the last minute anyway. I have so many choices this time around and don't know what should get priority LOL!!!!

Well, the one that's been coming to the track on friday nights has been running in Mod monster until a couple more show up. As for MJ9 classes, probably conversion unless we get 3 or more of them, then I will create their own class!:tmb
