I know Kyosho did a terrible disservice to this truck when they basically went to private sells but man I still though there would be a few more twinforce owners stick around I absolutely love mine !! will NEVER SELL IT !! is there anyone else on here that has one !! ?

Yep, I've got about 3-4 of them in various stages of transition.

The only one running is basically stock with some TTR goodies in the works. One will be crawler based and one will have a full TTR make-over when I get the time. The forth is mainly a parts truck.

Awesome truck, hard to find parts sometimes. Always the worry that Kyosho will just stop all together on this truck... Hope not!

Nothing beats the marketing geniuses at Kyosho. "hey, let's not distribute through great planes/Tower anymore so parts and service are impossible to find, and then we can raise the price of this bad boy." What a bunch of tools, I love my twin force, and I don't think I'll ever get suckered into another Kyosho. A shame, too, cause I really like that inferno gt.

I'm guessing that you didn't spend 6 months waiting for Kyosho America to figure out where their Twin Force parts were. Mine truck was down, and I had the replacements that they couldn't supply fabricated. A month or two ago I had to email Kyosho America and ask why the twin force wasn't listed on their site under monster trucks. They didn't know why it wasn't, and they fixed it, but shouldn't the company know what products it offers?

Tower was better, imo.

Well I personally don't got one and kinda only liked em cause they carried over the USA-1 tires at one point. Now that they don't I kinda don't really care for em as much as I once did. Also is the older USA-1 tires that it onced used still avaliable or for sale? just a little curious on that as down the line I wanted a set of them USA-1 tires for a Clod project. I kinda like em a little better from the Clod's tires on some rides cause it looks a little lower and a little more wider. I also only buy new tires, unused, so thats why I kina wanted to know of people could still get these.

I'm getting a twinforce for christmas. I have a lot of experience with the chassis/axles combo from my mad force but am out of nitro now (still have the MF though).

I have lots of left over upgrades from my madforce that I'm sure will bolt right on. I'll probably run a brushless/lipoly combo on this thing with an extended wheelbase chassis (probably new era for the price but I like the ttr one) I was looking at the battery packs available from maxamps.com. Anyone have any experience with them? I like the 7.4volt 6000mah packs for $89

Even when stuff was being distributed thru great plains/tower it wasn't always easy getting the parts. They were frequently on backorder. I learned early on that if I broke anything to order two sets of replacements. In particular the suspension arms.

The only other parts I wore out on my MF was the front ring and pinion -- the hardened rear held up fine but the teeth on the pot metal ring gear wore quickly and I actually split the pinion gear. What gears does the twinforce ship with? Hopefully it's the hardened set AT least in the rear axle. Here is a pic...

Just wondering WHY would you go from Nitro to Brushless ? I have a Mad Force and I can't see throwing money into cells and brushless motors - Nitro Rocks !!!

Maybe I'm just not patient enough but I've had my fill of nitro. I don't care for the constant tweaking to keep 'em running right, the mess, or the torque curve. No question that for a long time Nitro was where it was at (for me) in the pre brushless/lipo days but electric technology has come far along enough to satisfy my needs.

Brushless is quiet. I love the way my savage sounds with it's tuned pipe, but the neighbor's don't. They can't hear brushless, and it's faster. I just have to use plenty of chapstick so my lips can handle the brrrrm brrrrm noises I have to make.
