A guy offered to trade me an LST for my Buggy, a couple days later he tells me it got hit by a car.. DOH! So he gets back to me a couple weeks later and says that he got another one, but he then decides that it's too nice to trade off.. Another couple weeks pass and he sends me pics of yet another, this time, all goes well and we agree to ship and all and then he emails me back the next day telling me not to ship because he fired up the truck and the engine blew. I like the guy, talked to him on the phone, he seems cool, and he's only 6 hrs away from me driving, but is this even possible?? Im kinda having doubts. Anyways just venting I guess, btw, how do you post smileys? I can only do it if I manually type them in.

I don't know man... If anything seems shady at all, I would stay away. If you don't believe his story 100% don't mess with the guy. there are other deals out there.

Plus what was he doing firing up a truck that he had agreed to trade you? Was he going to bash it one last time? As soon as he agreed to trade it to you, he should have stopped playing with it and just cleaned it and sent it...

IMO you don't run the RC if you already made a deal to trade the thing!!

Well dunno about you guys, but I always run my nitro cars right before I pack them up just to make sure everything is running well. But I dont use my cars frequetly so I just do it for myself to know its good so the buyer doesnt get it and say the engine is toasted or something. But yeah, I agree this guy is iffy.
i told him to do roller for roller, he'll prolly say no and that'll be the end of it. If he says yes I'll make sure I have it first. I have tons of good feedback and he has none. I told him to meet halfway and he said he was too busy. So wtv.. Just bummed cause I want an lst. Tom, i'll pm you, but I dont have any money left right now, so it'd have to be a trade, so i dunno if you want to. btw :shk :rof :rock :trk YAY! smileys :tong

just one more thing.. he agrees to trade your buggy with his LST(1)? it got run over so he bought another LST(2) which he thinks is too nice so he bought another LST(3) to finally trade with your buggy?
