Does the Mamba Monster 2200 system have a recommended C rating for lipos? I am noticing my 2 4s 5000 25c are starting to puff and a guy I race with has the same system and is having the same issue. We both use foreign made cheap (turnigy and Hobbypartz) batteries, do we need to go to higher C rating or just look for a better battery all around? Im running the system in a 8ight T and my temps are relatively low 130 motor 115 esc.

Well yes on both. I run a 5000mah 40c ace pack and it does great the turnigy I had puffed after 3 runs and it was 35c :( but give castle a call they are awesome helping with any qustions I've had

Thanks. I will have to start looking for some better batteries. Of course if the local track dont get some truggy racers soon I aint spending the cash for something that will just sit around. I might give hobbypartz another shot that one hasnt started really puffing yet and has more runs than the turnigy. Those MMM setups are some power hungry power making things though I know that.

yeah they can suck the amps right out of a lipo in a few runs but your demanding alot og power from the battery when you hit the throttle hard!
