mah lil wheely king

finished the king today.. finally. I have to say I am extremely happy with how it drives now.. doing the "conservative extension" was a good fit for my driving preferences... I can still bash and wheelie, but it's a bit more sure footed also.. feels a bit more solid and predictable and still steers very sharply when needed, doesn't feel like it's dragging it's rear around.. the WB is almost 11 inches now.. got the traxxas shafts on it also and front alum upper brace anchor..

no plans to do anything else 'cept drive and repair it.. might pick up some paddles for better beach traction.. thanks to everyone for the help and encouragement along the way. :)

wow, looks almost to neat and clean. You'd never guess it wasn't stock till you looked closer and see all the changes.

a bit of a sleeper. ;) I do like the stock WK body, it's simple but sharp looking also.. I also liked how the orange on that body went with the blue STRC stuff... high contrast colors that work well together.. like yellow and purple.. anyways... I need to take it on a trail run now and get it dirty.. I scoped a few spots near my house out.. lots of bikers and dog walkers though.. not ideal, but maybe after work (non-weekend) it will be less populated.

i just realized you stuck a 2wd body on it.

lil update... about one year later... finally got around to putting different shocks on the king.. got some Gmade G-transition shocks for my trail truck and they were not a good fit for that one, but they worked perfect on the king.. it's a lot less bouncy now and they look pretty cool also.

winning! :)

Hey welcome back :tmb
Shocks look good on there, but do they leak? The ones that came with my R1 leaked like a sive, so did Soilworks.
