Mad Force VE

First impressions...With 30C lipos, you cannot drive this slow at all. Low speed messing around is very hard! I'm use to slower brushed trucks though, but tap the throttle and its on the roof.

Need to get some more driving in, but with a bit of snow around I'm worried about electronics!

Are you happy with it so far? Do you think it was worth the money as far as build quality. I am looking into this for my next rc, i want something bigger than a wheely king and the ground pounder seems to break alot more than i would like. I may order one in th next week or so, it all just depends on my avalible "funds". How is your runtime? What size battery have you been using?
Thanks,
Nic

Dunno about his run time, but I get 20 minutes on brushed and the truck is FAR more durable than any monster I've had, Be it Emaxx(Gen 1 and GEn 2), e-Savage, TXT-1, Clod, and WK.

It can *easily* compete with them. I use to race my original Twin Force against E-Maxxes and T-Maxxes and always hung with them, even beating them from time to time. The new Mad Force VE will be even better because they added some length to the wheel base. That should make it even better yet for handling at the high speeds the BL is sure to have.

The TF and Mad Force VE are probably the best solid axle monster trucks ever built for racing or bashing.

Thought I'd give a bit of an update!

I haven't been driving outside much, but took a wall out of my basement so I have some square footage to drive around.

I've been driving my summit and stock clod around mostly, just started driving the MF more.

I love how light the truck is compared to the clod and summit. This meant I could hit anything and get at least foot of air (video to follow).

I don't like the way the BL setup cogs so bad, crawling over something slow doesn't happen... I have a traxxas vxl setup I'm considering installing, we'll see.

I broke a rear knuckle on one tire landing inside... maybe it was just a real bad luck but I was really surprised it broke. Maybe I'm just lucky... my LST2, Baja, Stampede have been jumped car lengths at top speed with very few breakages. I didn't think I'd ever brake something in my basement!

All in all I'm starting to appreciate this truck more. I'm considering some Thunder Tech upgrades (steering, maybe chassis). There is very little articulation with this truck, but I'm sure it was intended that way for how fast it is on solid axles.
