They're super fun trucks man. I would recommend the front cvd cuz I used to have my front dog bone pop out all the time until I upgraded to cvd. I used to use 3 cell and it was a beast.

Mk, will keep in though, just one thing how did you mount the single battery? Im thinking of having both 4s in at once (if they fit) then only plunging one in?

I bought one last year and had the same issue with the front shaft popping out nearly every run. Williamg on this forum gave me a great suggestion that has worked flawlessly - put a small piece of fuel tubing in the front axle and it has not popped out since.

I run mine on (2) 2S packs and it moves pretty good. Only upgrades Ive done are the TTR link braces and steering, truck has held up really well. While it is entertaining I dont think I've ever run a full set of packs through it. To me it gets old after about 5-10 minutes of running. I know typical 4-link solid axle trucks dont have the speed/performance of the MF, but I find them much more entertaining. If you're looking for a powerful truck that is fairly durable then its a great truck, I just dont think it has much to offer other than speed.

I found it to be a very fun truck. The chain drive on the trans is super cool too. It's also very durable.

Loctite the 4 center bolts that hold the axles arms to the chassis and do everything else also that can be done.
I have fun with my fox it's a fun rc to run for sure!

I got 2 mad force's, one Fo-xx and one custom tuber build. The kyosho are all anyone can ask for in power and drive train strength

The fo-xx is almost a better value out the box imo, as the body is stronger (thicker) and better designed with the flip up cage included, and if you ever drive in snow the tires are nice to have too, the tires also have a better re-sale if your going the scale MT only route

The mf kruiser body looks great as far as a scale monster truck build but one flop and the complex very thin shell shatters like glass sadly.

I used amain 75% of the time for kyosho stuff, Id keep it under 6s

Mk, so what do ya'll think for a Digger body, thinking between Parma (1/10) or Pro line, From what I can tell the Pro line is slightly bigger? For my MF I'm thinking maybe shorten the WB a bit and Clod tires. Then again i should wait till the truck in in my hands first :rolleyes

If you want to put a Digger body on the MF I would go with the Proline as you said. I have a bunch of Digger bodies and the Parma 1/10 is too small for a MF, the Parma 1/8 is way too big. The Proline is a bit bigger than the 1/10 Parma, so with a short wheelbase MF it would be nice.

Definitely add the 2 missing gears and thier shaft to each diff as suggested.

Why kyosho did not complete the diff's in these lines of trucks is beyond me but they dont last compared to a full diff gear sets that they should have came with.

Also put a piece of fuel tubing to wedge between your front axle shaft and it's yoke so you don't loose the front drive shaft if it's a stocker.

Welp turns out A main is probably not getting them back in stock for while..... :(

Thinking of getting the New Mad Crusher, then swapping out wheels, Is the rest the same? looks like steering is a bit different?

Or If anyone has a MF VE they would want to let go, Id be interested for sure!

The big difference is the 5 link (4 parallel links + panhard bar) which mean the axles articulate easier but that also means the truck now shows torque twist. But now there's supposed to be a swaybar system for it.
