Looking for Battery Suggestions

Hey folks, I've got a stock Clod and now a TA02 (F150) that I would like to find a battery for that would fit in the stock locations. I've found this Venom battery (see link below) and a Gen Ace but I was wondering if anyone knows of another manufacturer? Also is the C rating enough for stock silver cans in the Clod and TA02 or at most 19 or 20 turns?

Any help would be great!!

I wouldnt bother with the Venoms, you can do much better for the price. Ive been using packs from spcracingbatteries.com and they're a quality battery for the money. They have plenty that will fit in the stock location and most have pretty high C ratings. You wont have any issues with stock silver cans and any of their batteries.

I've got one like this...

Worked in my minis and cc-01s.
It should fit my ta's, too.

The problem with the 2s hard case packs I have now is they won't fit in the rounded shape holes in the chassis because of their size/square shapes. I need something like the stick packs or like the venom and the pack Joe posted.

Yeah. You need the ol' shotgun stick pack shape.
I'll get a pic of the one I have when I get home.
I test it in a TA chassis, too.

Hey Tom. Here's the pack I have...

The "door" will need a little modification for a proper fit...

The pack itself slips right in just like the nimh packs.

Cool, Thanks.....Joe!!

I take it the modding is for the wires to fit through the little slot thing in the door?

I'll have to pick up that pack.

Yeah. The "door" has a center notch for the wires.
This pack has the wires on the side, so trimming one if the ears would remedy it.
