That was me. :)
AH-HA!!! I have a story to tell you about that quote, but I can't PM you for some reason. If you can PM me or email me through my profile, please do. That quote came at a pivotial point in my life and helped me a ton.

JKracing thanks for the mention! I recognize all those names of the past legends! It feels good to be mentioned along with all those classic members as well as the 'living' legends who are still active :D
No prob, you deserve it! Your WK review was responsible for me getting my first WK. I blame you for that addiction. :D

I definitely don't belong on anyone's Legend list, but I thank you for the thought John. Most of what people give me credit for was knowledge I first acquired from other people. When I built the Fall Guy truck and Rubicon scalers most of that came from RCC and Scale4x4. It was Devastator and Tad that first showed me how to make TXTs better. And it was Mo's GraveDigger that made me always want to put at least a little bit of scale appearance in all my trucks, even the racers.
I totally forgot about the Fall Guy truck, and that was/is one of my favorite all time trucks on this site! That truck was so sweet.

JKRacing: Now I'm not putting John on the list because he named me. John's WheelyKing builds were always full of well thought technical points and innovation. But where John really makes his mark is when there is a deep discussion. When things are getting overly emotional or confusing or whatever it's usually John who brings it back together with a well worded post. You can take this thread as an example, everyone was thinking of the distant past but one post from John and a whole new viewpoint opens up. When we were having the discussion about the 2.2 class in the NRCTPA section last year it was John's post that offered insights that may of us didn't even see. BTW I put Mo in this category too, but since he was already mentioned.............
LOL...that may be the nicest way anyone has ever called me an a-hole! LOL! j/k Thanks, I appreciate it...but like your statement I don't feel like I belong on a list of any sort. LOL

Totally agree! Although my list would also have

JKRacing37 - very helpful with the builds I have done and am working on with his personal advice.
Thanks, I appreciate it. The pay off check is in the mail. :D

wow thank you John for the mention ! i really appreciate that

agree with Kent bout Turn me over an Ball racing ... above and beyond on there builds and they have def inspired me to go that extra step in fit an finish

Kent (HawnMt ) has to be on there as well , Besides leaning a ton his builds like John said are well planned out and go that extra step
Gosh to many to name that need to be on here , but that is what i love about this hobby the way we push each other to come up with ideas to make something work better .

Definitely some great times and great people along the way...its good to be back after all these years..

I remember back in the early 90's I became fascinated with the clod buster. Most of the information about them came from R/C Car Action and the internet was just starting to blossom and information about the Clod was scattered all over the net and sparse.

So in my free time I decided to put up a simple website called the
"The Clod Buster Internet Resource Guide"...which was hosted on a simple ISP free web page...it was a long time ago. Slowly I started gathering information and compiling it on the site...

Soon the site began to grow...and other companies began creating there versions of the Clod buster; and they were also going to need a home so..."Radio Control Monster Truck Network" rcmt.net was born around the fall of 1997 a site a name that represented all that was monster R/C.

The site had its ups and downs for sure...there were times we had so many users online at once the ISP would shut us down...I always paid out of my pocket very little ad revenue..we eventually switched to a pay as you go board...which worked for a long time..then in 2006 Will took over command and then after that Steven. Its nice to see it still going and nice to see old faces.

I remember when all the different sites were popping up and when RCMT came about. Those were good times. I always enjoyed the new discoveries. It never seemed to get old.

Dagger Thrasher: In the old forums, when the Wild Dagger was hot, he was the guy building all those crazy single and dual-battery carbon fiber chassis. His Cold Fusion build was legendary.
