Kyosho Blizzard tips? (Ireceiver help please)

If its a blizzard SR(the newest kind) it will have dual 370 motors installed. Brushless isnt an option as the gears are extremely weak. Your not gonna get much, if any speed with the newest kind. You need to get an older one(EV version) which has a single 540 motor which feeds into a differential.

The SR has a direct drive transmission, no diff at all. Grab bearings, some hot 370 motors and bigger pinions. The metal tracks are expensive and much heavier than the stock tracks. I would stick with the stock tracks as they are cheap and easy to replace if and when they break or stretch.

I have seen video's and people upgrade the one I am getting to Dynamite Fuze Mini 4500kv BL systems with no issues. Hopefully that will work.

i know people have done it but it doesnt mean it can handle it. I put a brushless system in an HPI 1/10 scale Brama 10B buggy and it was great for a few runs until i broke the driveshaft, axle bones, spur gear and both diffs. Fun for about a month until replacing parts got to be a pain in the butt. Even went as far as upgrading as much as i could off what HPI had available from the touring car that used the same chassis but in the end it was just a waste of time and money.

The twin motor transmission is weak and you will find the short comings once you start throwing a ton of power into it. The snowcat boards on the zetaboards had someone who designed a metal gearset for them but i dont know if it was anything more than a one off. He also made a new transmission housing and a 540 motor mount for his.

I saw a dual 540 mount kit for it on the snowcat board. I like their table they made with different members who run different motors/esc's with their Blizzard. I will try it stock, with upgraded bearings, and go from there I suppose :) Thanks guys

Check out the Sabertooth ESC. Guys have been raving about it since it can fit in the stock ESC box, can be used to mix the motor signal so you can use a pistol grip transmitter and it can handle some gnarly motor/battery combos.

I was going to run some Duratrax mod 370's on the stock ESC in my Blizzard SR but ended up getting rid of it for the Blizzard EV i have now. I only run a 17t in my blizzard now with bearings and a 2s lipo. Any more power and i would fear a total meltdown.

Anyone know how to get the videos off the ireceiver app and onto my computer? No options for transferring, didn't save them to the sd card, gotta be hidden on the phone and of course it won't let me connect as a mass storage device...
