Sorry for not updating last weekend.

I wanted to post pictures up, but my day job sent me to Minneapolis for the week. Everything is going to together good for the most part. I've already seen a few things I am changing for the final release.

This thing looks amazing Ernie, I'm going to have to get one of these to join my KK-1!! I can't wait to see some video of this thing.

Can't wait to grab one of these.. SWEETNESS :) Cab area looks so good, great lower chassis area too. So nice to have the options yet still has the faux tuber look.

HOLY SMOKE ON THE WATER! I was about to get a Ground Pounder, but I should put a down payment on this instead. What setup are you using in the pics? and also, Axial running gear or Jugg/TXT running gear/tire set

The chassis is designed to work with multiple setups, axial and tamiya.

The latest pictures are showing assembly with axial wraith AR60 axles and transmission. Traxxas pede rear, or maxx type 4'' long shocks.

I apologize for not responding to those who have asked about pricing. I am working hard to get the KK-2 to the point where I'll have pricing and be able to sell some. I need to check all the different setups to be able to buy off on the entire design.

The parts I am showing are the first off prototypes that I am using to catch the unexpected things I don't find while working with CAD models.

For these first pics, I am showing AR60 axles and a Wraith transmission. I decided to verify that setup first since that seems to be the popular thing right now. I still need to check the other setups.

To summarize, this chassis can be setup for:

  1. AR60s & Wraith transmission
  2. TXT & Wraith transmission
  3. TXT & TXT transmission
  4. TXT & Traxxas Transmission
  5. Clod

Looks even better with the tires on. How did you do rear steering on the AR60's?

my guess is, this thing will be in the $120-$145ish range? hopefully fully loaded like the KK-1's.

I cannot fully commit to any pricing at this point, but $120-$140 is a stretch. Might as well put it on the table and say it will be more than that. Look up the pricing of the TTR Centurion and you'll find what people paid for that chassis. I'm trying to beat that Centurion price, but 120-140 is just not realistic. I don't want to disappoint but I also don't want to create false hopes.

So we're talking in the $150-$200 range? That sounds about right, though, I cannot find much info about the Centurion anywhere.

They were a touch more than that ...let's just wait for him finish calculations (this is not cheap to do) but I would have more than 200 saved up
