Whats the scoop and delay on these being mass produced already.

I want one and know a ton of others do too.

Is there trouble finding somone to manufacture them?

Is x amount of dollars needed up front.

Do i need to buy a plasma/laser cutter to fill this niche? Lol

I am just confused on why some company has not jumped on this yet.

If Tamiya released Txt-2 transmission in a separate kit like they do with the Clod Buster it would help things along a fair bit... :D

Me and you both have been waiting for the same amount of time !!!LOL!! I tried to hold out,but had to bust out the dremel, and buy some G10!LOL! If you do the laser thing, and reverse engineer some up,I'll gladly buy one right now!! I called for one of the C.K.P chassis, but was told they don't do anything R/C anymore, then Googled ,and found out the template was sold, and small orders can be scooped up when available through someone on Facebook. Me and You held out for this chassis only to be let down.:( I'll gladly pay for a template of the vertical plates and cut my own!!:cool

Let's try to hold off on the reverse engineering. No one likes that. I have 22 on their way.

Please keep in mind that I am a one man band balancing a career, grad school, marriage, 5yr old, 3yr old, and a 3 month old. Plus I fund all of these projects out of my own pocket and time.

Imagine having to pay up front for 22 kits. My wife gives me the evil eye at times, and then I have to convince her that I will make it back.

A lot has changed in my life this year and well I need to take care of me first to maintain my sanity. When I have slivers in the day, I am working this side job of creating KK2s and KK1s.

I work very hard to make sure my designs are good, and my pricing is even better. I could go anywhere and get them made but everyone would be paying out the nose for them.

I've put a lot of leg work to find machine shops that have given me great pricing to be able to offer a full cage product like a KK2 for $290.

I meant no pun and had no intention of stealing anyone's work, i totally appretiate and respect what your doing with these.

I was just thinking maybe i could help by finding a shop if needed or if none would be worth the wild maybe i could buy a setup to fill that niche.

But yeah i have no complaints and plenty of patience it just suprise's me these shops are not calling you for something so cool.

I was never let down either, i had 3 kk-1 and was takin care of with anything needed and any other custom extra's i had requested on all of'em.
