ive been wanting to do a low rider
im useing all stock parts from the king kit, rc4wd low profile tires, ball bearings, 2x servos and my alum rails . want to show the adverage joe/newbies that you dont need a ton of money to make a pretty nice truck
total truck build with paint too was 430.00 usd
the rail i cut 28 inches long, paint pure white
rear cross floor and fifth wheel plate was paint silver leaf
fifth wheel painted white
interior will be gray and white
i want to see how low i can go useing stock parts
between suspension, axle cut and tires i was able to get it to 66mm from ground to top rail
i built the truck for show only so theres no shocks. which is fine, the leafs are stiff enough
the front bumper is 5 mm off the ground. under the hood is plenty room for the electronics
the transmission is 11mm off ground. rear mud flaps i had to cut off 5mm
the cab is going to be pretty kool to, i chop top 10mm and made it an convertible, ive added 45mm to side hood and slanted the grill 6mm
