King Blackfoot?

What do you guys think a good price for a NIB King Blackfoot with both NIB CVA shocks and crome rollbar would be? I'm just looking for a ballpark figure here... I'm looking at buying this from a guy who had it on ebay, but didn't make reserve.

Thanks...

I don't think I would go over $100 for a used truck. There is not a whole lot of collector interest in this truck so you you have to be the one that wants it.

Well I think it's one of the better Blackfoot trucks...better rear end for sure! I'd think realistic price would be $150-200 range. I paid $135 shipped for a new built one last year and it included a brand new Monster beetle body as well as the King body, plus a few extras like a couple new sport tuned motors and a 959 porsche gearset which I sold.

My buddy Bryan just finished painting the Beetle body so look for pics of it soon!

Let us know if you get it!

Thanks for the info... I'm trying to decide, but his price seemed a little steep - $265 shipped - thats why I figured I would ask in here...

I've had plenty of Tamiya's other kits over the years - execpt the Blackfoots (Reg, Extreme, King, etc...), thats the reason I'd like to try and find one at a decent price - unbuilt kit that is ;)

that's to much
Heck if you want a king BF with a Super body and ready to run mines been sitting for a year unused, I'd take 150 no radio (I'll throw in a TQ2 but want my old futaba out)

Has a rebel esc 19 turn mod, standard servo and some oil shocks

Let me know, I'll snap a picture or 2

it's a decent price considering they go for $300 for just the NIB truck on ebay. but $200 or less would be better

Sure WillG, whay don't ya throw up some pics... although I'm most likely going to have to pass for two reasons...

1. The wife just went to the LHS to pick up my pre-ordered High Lift for me (couldn't get away from work to do it myself)... and she is not pleased (the knuckle heads at the LHS gave her a copy of the receipt :banghead )...

2. I was more or less looking for a kit (at least that was before #1 happened above :( )

yep, my cover was blown for Operation High Lift...

I'm ususally better at the covert ops, but my judgement was temporarily blinded by the thought of my kit sitting in the hobby shop one minute longer than it needed too :p

I showed my wife the High Lift and she thought it looked cool. I dont think I showed her the price though. I'm not sure she's fully aware of all the dough I spent on my Knight Hauler. Although alot was gotten thru trading and lucked out and found the kit for about $125 off what tower sells them for.

I'm asking for paypal gift cards for xmas from everyone plus I plan on selling some more stuff to help fund the High LIft. Wish me luck!!

sorry it took so long

I'll take 150 with the futaba setup in it, and the rebel esc no changes

To see nice big detailed pictures go to my RCMT gallery page

I will include 2 oil shocks to replace the rears as 1 appears to need a rebuild. They are traxxas oil in rear, duratrax plastic oil shocks up front that work nice.

I haven't seen one king go for $300 at all. People list them at that price because they are discontinued but you'd be crazy to spend that much for one. They just aren't a great collectable truck. I'd regret buying a NIB king for $200 knowing what they used to cost.
