just thought id share my project

finally figured out how to post pics. Heres my project. i made the tube frame, got new gear cases but has factory gears cuz they were in perfect shape, evx with titan 550's, esp long wheel-base links, vemon traxxas slash shocks, futaba bb high-torque steering servo with servo saver, locked rear. i plan on going with a bigfoot chromalusion body and new wheels and tires.

I'm one of those guys that hasn't bought a race chassis yet due to looks (obviously I don't race or I would have one by now). Hard to beat a tuber in the looks department! Nice work!

im very happy with the performance of the old evx with 14.4 titan 550's. i run two 3000 nimh batterys with stock gearing and the truck takes off great and good top speed. thanks for the comments everyone.

Thats a great looking truck. I wish I had the know-how to build a tube frame. Never tried but it would be a fun project to try.
