Was hoping it would live up to the hype and to my surprise it did !! was great might be in my top 5 best action flicks all time for me will see again before it leaves show probably take my little nephew with me .. can't wait till the next one with my all time favorite bad guy THANOS !!!

Awesome! Glad to hear it seems to be living up to the hype. It is one of those movies that you just expect to be super awesome and fantastic with all the characters involved and the movie tie ins.

This is the best super hero movie of all time!! Well worth the price of IMAX 3D.

i was able to see a sneak preview showing on wednesday, and while i dont usually care for 3d movies, this one is a must see in 3d...the anti-piracy security measure they took were crazy! we had to actually TURN-IN our cellphones...not just turn them off...and during the movie they had guys scanning the audience with their special binoculars looking for recording devices...

WOW! that was awesome. After watching it I could honesty sit there and watch it again. Top 5 action movies indeed.

I am going to go see it again, which I havn't done for any movie in over 15 years. I think I'll have to go to IMAX.

The only bad thing that may come out of this is that all following super hero films will suck in comparison.

How was the CG on this movie? The other marvel movies have some of the worse CG I've ever seen on big name movies. One of the movie channels I get showed Captain America and Thor and man I had a hard time watching them, I didn't think I finished either.

I used to collect comics, did it for several years. I am glad these type of films have come out in my lifetime. I seen all the movies, whether you consider them bad or good, I think they all have been awesome. The ability to go into movie format is what makes a comic freak giggle with glee. The origins or the character might be a little different from the comics, but that is to appeal to the non-comic book masses, who have never read one.

Avengers was awesome... I could see it 100 more times and never tire of it.


Now DC Comics needs to get onboard and give us a Justice League movie with real people...not this all cg crap I had been hearing about.

That was awesome! I never saw Thor but I liked his part a lot. The super hero movies kepp getting better and better. Captain America and The Watchmen were my favorite, I think this one is as good as those maybe better. The villian Loki was surprisingly likeable whoever that actor was did a great job . Him and the army he brought reminded me of The Chronicles of Riddick for some reasons.

just heard on WTOP here in D.C. area that the Avengers made 201 million and set box office records for its first weekend out. incredible, i still have not seen it but so far everyone has said its spot on one of the best superhero movies ever....

im very excited, trying to get the significant other to go see it with me after a very nice dinner at the melting pot on friday

Well guys I went and saw the avengers today. Now I must say I didn't care much for the other marvel movies except the first iron man. That being said I thought this movie was great, I love it. To those who haven't seen it yet I say go see it now lol

Wife and I went to see it last night. For me it definitely vaults to the #1 comic book movie spot surpassing Iron Man. And for sure one of my top movies. Leaving the theater afterwards we both decided we will be going to see it again.
