jr xs3 help

can i mod a jr xs3 like a traxxas tq3? like have a 3 position switch that controls the gears in the 3 speed. like 1st position will be first gear, center will be second gear and 3rd position will be third gear?

I can't remember but on one of the JR radio's you can mod it with a three way switch. Theres a thread on here somewhere that shows which one it'll work on.

I'll see if I can find it, also did you look in the FAQ thread?

yes i looked in the FAQ thread and all it shows is how to do it to a traxxas radio. and i posted the same question and never got a reply

if you open up your radio and look at the pot all you have to do is transfer those three wires to the switch just like the traxxas radio any questions let me know

I thought the thread I was talking about was for the XS3 but it's not it's for the XR3:bang
