I ran this thru bablefish it was in German I have their rulebook and there is a diagram for each class so the overview is a lot easier to understand anyways.....
Two Wheel drive 2900g motorizing:
max. 1 combustion engine to 10 ccm capacity zweitakt or four-cycle.
Body: Obligation (yardstick 1: 10) rear wheels: max. 115mm is broad measured highly/70 mm Orginalzustand (rough lugs) the tire!
there is a diagram here and the letters are on it but.....
A = max: 100 mm (measured of center rear axle to ends to drawbar)
3.93" from center of axle to end of hitch drawbar
B = max: 400 mm (measured from front to center rear axle)
15.74" from center of rear axle to furthest point forward
C = min: 45 mm (measured of center rear axle to center drawbar eye)
1.77" from center of rear axle to center of hitch hole
D = max: 76 mm ((end to drawbar) upper edge drawbar to soil)
2.99" hitch height
E = max: 260 mm (based on the outside edges of the construction units
10.23"total width of vehicle including body
total weight 6.3#
I was with the northeast pullers (3 clubs in northeast) and we talked about an international class we decided that the 2wd 2900 class was a good choice...
.**we accepted all of the measurements of that class, weight, size wheelbase etc.
**motor rules none.....it was felt that this class will be very easy to overpower and weight will control the horsepower ( we think.... pretty sure anyways)
we would allow brushless and nitro but probably gas would be too large...but still legal.... basically a small insane class (our insane)
**we felt that when pulling in Europe you will need a live differential which will be legal in the US...... however in the US you can run a live axle..... you can also run independent brakes on the rear in US
***we favor non movable hitches
the purpose of this class is to create an international class that is exciting and could be supplied to by all manufacturers....It will also be legal in both Europe and US & Canada and hopefully Australia...(if I can find out now to contact them)....this will hopefully create more manufacturer sponsorships and cast pulling in a better (international) light like other R/C venues (racing) we want more TV coverage, magazine coverage, and sponsorships
your views will be accepted....we would need approval from the European clubs before we start I sincerely hope we can work this out so I can have an international (I Class) model ready for the I hobby show by next October 10/2007 3rd weekend
thank you

Hello Joe!
The idea to create an international class is a good way for the future. The EMPC (European Micropulling COmmittee) is very interested to get more contact with other Micropullers on the globe.
The TWD class could be a good base for this project. Only the point to run without motorlimits can not be combined with the European rulebooks. Germany, Netherlandsand Belgium use the same Motorlimits.
These mean: 1 Motor with max.
10 ccm 2-stroke
11,5 ccm 4-Stroke
We need these Rules because the TWD is a class that can be affordable for beginners as well. The new European Champion for example uses a CMB engine with 7,5 ccm. There is a photo of it in the email.
In Germany electric engines are possible, but in the dutch NMPO Rulebook electric engines are completely forbidden.
We think that a Motorlimit like we use in Europe keeps the class on the one hand spectacular and on the other hand gives the constucteurs a chance for a fair and close championchip.

thank you for your response...we will take all of your suggestions to heart..... after all you designed the class and we do not want to overrule anything we plan to work with you in all aspects of this and hammer out a plan...your suggestions will probably have the most weight as we have not built anything yet and are totally flexible.....the electric option is there to involve more manufacturers ...(and sponsors) over here almost all of our classes are electric.....but again we will work all of this out and thank you for responding...should all communications go through you? should I have this translated to German I can have my computer do that if you want.I am not sure of the exact translation though......some things do not turn out right....
FYI::::::I tried to translate thru bablefish and it became unreadable it is probably best we send it in english and hope someone who knows english can translate this for us.....I assume if I translate anything and mail it it will also be unreadable and confusing....anyways.....
