Illinois R/C WEATHER AND RACE UPDATES!!!!!!

All Illinois racers need to watch this post. I will make a decision by 8:00, or 9:00 P.M. tonight about the race tomorrow. We are expecting freezing rain and snow this afternoon, and all night tonight. As of now
The race is on as planned!!! If we don't get the freezing rain, everything will be good for tomorrow. Snow could be anywhere from 2-6" according to our local news.

If the weather gets bad we may just have another test and tune day, and not a points race. That way people don't have to travel if they don't want to.

Again, the race is on as scheduled so far. As of now it will be a points race. Keep an eye on this thread for updates!!!

Getting some sleet and snow. Everything is still good for now. Will make a decision by 9:00 P.M. tonight.

Make sure you check rcmt in the morning before you leave!!!!!! As of now we are going to have a non points race tomorrow. This way nobody feels like they have to come and race or they will lose points. It will be another test and tune day.

Make sure you check this thread before you leave in the morning. If the roads are bad when I get up around 5:00 A.M. I will cancel the race. If you decide to come, be careful. I know a friend traveled to Springfield this evening and it took them 3 hours. It is normally about a hour and 30 minute drive. He said the roads were ok for the most part. Had to drive around 40MPH most of the way. I am also moving the start time back to 11:15 A.M. If you aren't there on time don't worry about it. Again, tomorrow will not be a points race.
