We had a great field of 40 trucks for our first points race of the 2014 season. While some guys were trying out some new trucks, and new equipment. Other guys were just trying to get the rust off! As the day went on our racers and their trucks were getting much better. Jon Zyck made the long drive from Michigan. He had a nice points day with his trucks. Brad Pitt made the drive down from Chicago. Brad also had a nice points day with the White Ripper Truck. We ran the "figure 8" course which proved to be a fast and challenging course. We had some great racing action. Several races that were decided by less than tenth of a second. Brant Dooley, and Jim Gaines had a better start to their 2014 season. Both guys put together some good runs throughout the day. Jason Renard, Rich Aper, Jon Zyck, and Josh Rhodes all showed that they were going to be tough to beat all day.
Thanks to all of our racers for supporting the series, sorry to see that Phil Grande had some car trouble and was unable to make the race.
