Illinois R/C Monster Truck Series Point Standings after Round 2

[Blues Racing]

Thanks to all the racers for coming out for round 2 of our points championship. We had 33 trucks for our second points event of the year. We ran a narrow, high speed 3 lane track that was quite the challenge. The average lap time was over 14.50 seconds. Phil Grande, Rich Aper, and Jason Renard were the top three in points for the day. Phil Grande and his Nitro Circus truck ended up with 17 points for the day. Rich and his Crusader truck also had 17 points for the day. Jason's Captains Curse truck was just 1 point behind with 16 points. Brad Pitt had a strong showing with his White Ripper, and his Black Ripper trucks as well. Great job by Kerry Lee, who made it to the semifinals of the first bracket. Guys are definitely getting their trucks dialed in, and very competitive.I would also like to thank the Gaines family for bringing the pulled pork, and brownies for lunch.
