So I got my new dx3c radio gear in and set the truck on the kitchen table with various other rc parts scattered throughout to install the radio gear and I did.

turned it and the 4ws was backward so I set that in the setting fine took care of that.

so then I went to give it throttle and only the rear was going so I went and tried another setting and then all of the sudden when I would turn the radio wheel left or right it was going forward or reverse along with turning.

so I set it down and switch to another setting and all of the sudden the front end kicked in full throttle straight shot at my face and at shoulder level with the table and clod comng at my I hurried and snatched it up from the bottom of the from axle just inches from my face coming right at me.

now if there rear kicked in at the same time I think it would have just leaped me like a cat and kept going.

it was funny but it was not at the same time type of thing but the wife say's I moving that thing is just going to come alive at me or something and no sooner did she get up it all went down.

so I got lucky I did not take a 10lb metal brushless clod to the face but at the same time I am pretty sure I blew my front diff to peice's becuase it was wide open until I can get a hold of it and shut the switch down.

so one again I broke another before it even started type of thing.

the front diff felt a little weird compared to teh back when I built them new so it may have been somehting goofy form the get but it's clicking and clacking now with a bind when the wheels are both spun on the front so pretty sure something is bad now.

just thought I would share another one of adventures in rc building lol.

That reminds me of when I was experimenting with the channel mixing on my dx3c and somehow I ended up with 5% mix of the throttle and steering channels. At the same time I bought an esc off a member here and was testing it out in my 4x4 Slash. Each time I hit full lock on the wheel the truck would go by itself. I thought for sure the esc was screwed up!!! Luckily I caught it before I pm'd the seller and completely embarrassed myself. LOL

I know i had a case like this with dx3c of channel mixing where I hit a button(no clue which one) and the front gear case just went full throttle with zero response from the trigger, thank gosh the truck was upside down or I cant imagine what would have happened had it happened with the truck right side up.

that's sounds like exactly what happened to me but mine was right side up and facing me directly.

I think the only thing that saved me was the front itself was the only thing that kicked on full the back did not move at all.

if it did with the new rumbles on there I think it would have either lifted and wheelied at me or just hit me and gone right up and over my shoulders and face.

now I am a little learry of playing with the settings it blew a diff and almost wiped me out already haha.
